I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Istanbul. the location was perfect - it was within walking distance of all the major Old Town attractions, yet situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with directions and information about local culture. The room was also fantastic, with a modern and nice bathroom and even a balcony with a view to the Bosporus. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious, with handmade cookies that added a personal touch to the experience.
No negatives, everything was perfect!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I have never stayed at hotel that I felt had better service than this one. It is a brand new boutique hotel (completed ~Feb 2012) with all the comforts you would expect at a high end hotel. Good bed/blankets. Quiet room. Nice decor. Big breakfast. The staff and the owner were always around to greet us when we returned from our day trips. They always went above and beyond for any small request. For example, when I wanted a drink from the hotel bar, the owner opened it up just for me. I can go on and on about this place, so to summarize, if this hotel is within your price range, this is the place to stay. After our visit here, we will only stay at the Elanaz Hotel when we visit Istanbul.

Elanaz hotel was a great choice. The reason we booked it is because it was new and trust me you will never regret staying there. Perfect location in the Old city, a walking distance (15 - 20 minutes) to all the historical places: Topkapi, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar, Galata Tower,....we even walked to Taksim. The view from our room on the Bosphorus was simply stunning! People at Elanaz hotel are very professional, helpful, friendly, they'll go the extra mile to meet all your requests...we actually felt at home and not in a hotel. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel was tastefully decorated. The breakfast area although a bit small, had everything fresh and nicely presented. We definitely recommend this family hotel in this amazing city of Istanbul. Big thank you to Didem, Erdem, Kubra, Petra, Noor and the gentlemen at the door and the bar for giving us such a great service and making our holiday an unforgettable one.

We were booked to a very lilited spaced room in the 1st floor. It was acceptable because it was very clean, but there was too noisy the air ductι of the a/c of the adjacent small hotel right next to my window. This had the result to have thne window closed all the time. More important was the unacceptable breakfast, served at an unacceptable room where everything was mixed and piled up in a way that you could not find a sitting place when there were not more than 3 little tables available .......

The hotel is located so close to everything, from the public transport to the nearby shops. I really loved the location, which is just a few minutes' walk from Bosphorus bridge. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was amazing. They were always available to help and answer any questions I had. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I liked the high-quality service and the friendly predisposition of the manager and staff to help passengers in any possible way. Rooms are new, well-equipped and nicely decorated. Elanaz capuccinos are also excellent. The location could not be better, at walking distance of the historical attractions. Our impression was very, very positive.
Everything was great, except the reduced space in the breakfast lounge. The quality of the breakfast coffee could also be improved.

Despite the cold, the Christmas lights and decorations made two of the nights magical. The breakfast was decent, with a selection of hot and cold foods. The location is great, with easy access to public transportation and lots of restaurants around. We enjoyed walking to a nearby pizzeria for dinner.
The heater in our room wasn't working properly and the staff wasn't able to fix it during our stay. We had to use an extra blanket to stay warm at night.

This new boutique hotel is great. Location is perfect. Delicious breakfast, helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, in the historical centre and walking distance to everything. To catch a tram or a ferry from Eminonu to the Asian side is so easy. Highly recommended!
The room facing the street is a bit noisy

Convenient location in the Sirkeci area close to all major sites of the old city. Very friendly personnel, a receptionist spent 20 minutes to explain me how to get to the Asian part of the city by public transportation to save my money on taxi, a manager gave me a tram token as a present. Convenient and well-designed rooms. I will surely stay in Elanaz when I come to Istanbul next time.
Nothing to complain about.
